KETTE, KUTZTOWN BIKE SHARE

Kette is a bike sharing program in Kutztown, PA that allows Kutztown University students, as well as residents of the town, to travel in a manner that is beneficial for both the environment and riders’ health. The logo for the bike share takes a basic element from a bike, the chain, and uses its links to form the letter K. These links are also used throughout the bike share’s branding to create patterns for use on other elements such as the bikes and apparel. The bike share also features a uniquely designed app to allow users to see vacancy at bike racks, track various details of their rides, and read important biking and road safety tips. Riders can share their biking adventures by using #RideKetteKU on all social media platforms.
